More than 10,000 runners and walkers from around the globe will participate in the Marathon, Mayor’s Walk, 5-Miler and Kids’ Run. Featuring the nation’s largest variety of entertainment and music along the course, the Portland Marathon has been recognized by Runner’s World as “the best people’s marathon in the West.”

As a result of the Oregon Sports Authority’s work to eliminate sports lottery games, the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament is returning to Oregon for the first time in 26 years, as the Rose Garden hosts the 1st and 2nd rounds of March Madness.
