eUpdate – 2015 NCAA Tournament, U.S. Women’s Soccer vs. Ireland

The Oregon Sports Authority is thrilled to announce that Portland will host the second and third rounds of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship at the Rose Garden on March 19 and 21, 2015. This will mark the third time during a seven year period that the Rose Garden has played host to March Madness – the only arena in the nation to do so. Earlier this year Portland played host to eight NCAA men’s basketball teams, including Louisville, which went on to the 2012 Final Four in New Orleans, and Indiana, currently the top ranked college basketball team in the nation.

Portland to host 2015 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament

Portland will host the second and third rounds of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship at the Rose Garden on March 19 and 21, 2015. The successful bid was submitted by the University of Oregon, Oregon Sports Authority, Rose Quarter and Travel Portland, the same partnership that hosted the NCAA Tournament earlier this year and in 2009. Ticket information will be forthcoming.

eUpdate – U.S. Women’s Soccer, Hillsboro Hops, Hall of Fame

Join the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team in Portland next month as they celebrate this summer’s thrilling run to Olympic Gold. Abby Wambach, Megan Rapinoe, Alex Morgan and the rest of Team USA will face Ireland as part of U.S. Soccer’s Fan Tribute Tour on the evening of November 28 at JELD-WEN Field. Tickets to the USA vs. Ireland match will go on sale this Saturday; Visa cardholders are able to purchase tickets beginning Friday at 10:00 a.m.
