Volunteer at the Oregon Wine Country Half Marathon
The Oregon Sports Authority is seeking volunteers for the inaugural Oregon Wine Country Half Marathon on September 4-5 in Yamhill County. The event is part of Destination Races highly acclaimed series of wine country half marathons, and is expected to draw approximately 2,000 participants in its first year. With approximately half of the participants traveling from out of state, we hope to provide a friendly, welcoming environment that will encourage participants to return on an annual basis.
The Oregon Wine Country Half Marathon will wind through a scenic 13.1 mile course from Stoller Vineyards in the Dundee Hills to the winery-laden town of Carlton. Each volunteer will receive a commemorative shirt and goodie bag, as well as a front row seat at one of the best races in the country.
