Today’s eUpdate – Phil Knight Invitational College Hoops, Hillsboro to Host All-Star Game

    The Rose Quarter will host one of the greatest events in college basketball history next November: PK80 — the Phil Knight Invitational, featuring 16 of the best men’s college teams in the nation.  Participating teams include Duke, North Carolina, Michigan State, UCONN, Florida, Georgetown, Oregon, Texas, Gonzaga, Portland State and the University of Portland.  PK80 will honor Nike co-founder and Basketball Hall of Fame inductee Phil Knight in advance of his 80th birthday.  Two eight-team tournaments, consisting of three games per team, will run simultaneously in the Moda Center and Veterans Memorial Coliseum, ultimately crowning two champions. All games will be televised on ESPN networks.
