Tickets for 2012 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament at the Rose Garden now on sale

Tickets for the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, which returns to Portland for two rounds in March, will go on sale starting Saturday.

Portland’s Rose Garden arena will hold four second-round games on Thursday, March 15, and two third-round games on Saturday, March 17.

Tickets can be purchsed starting at 10 a.m. Saturday at or by calling 1-877-789-7673. Prices range from $198 to $243 and will gain admission to two Thursday sessions and the single Saturday session. No single-session tickets will be sold.

The NCAA tournament will be back at the Rose Garden after making a successful run in 2009, when it returned to the state of Oregon for the first time since 1983. The 2009 event quickly sold out, with Pacific Northwest teams Washington and Gonzaga drawing large partisan crowds for their games.
