
eUpdate – STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Coming to Salem, USA Cycling Nationals to Bend
The Oregon Sports Authority is excited to announce that the 25th anniversary season of the world-renowned STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® Series, shown nationwide on ESPN2, will highlight the opening weekend of the Oregon State Fair this August. Competitors for both the U.S. and Collegiate Championships will descend on Salem, making Oregon the undisputed capital of timbersports in 2010. ESPN cameras have followed the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Series for 25 years, making it one of the longest running programs on the network. This year the Willamette Valley will have the unique distinction of serving as the backdrop for the world’s premier timbersports event.
