Riders take BMX by storm — Dhers, Spinner to duel in Portland

When the BMX Park competition begins at the Rose Quarter on Aug. 21 in the Wendy’s Invitational, the third stop on the AST Dew Tour, all eyes will be on Daniel Dhers and Mike Spinner.

This will be nothing new to them.

Since bursting on the scene in 2006, the two riders have taken the BMX world by storm. They always seem to be at the top of the leader boards.

They come from vastly different backgrounds but have a common love for their sport.
