Portland to Host Davis Cup, U.S. Women’s Soccer, LIVESTRONG Challenge and Marathon

The Oregon Sports Authority is pleased to announce that the United States Tennis Association has selected Portland to host the USA vs. Russia Davis Cup World Final on November 30 – December 2 at the Memorial Coliseum. This is the first time in 15 years that a Davis Cup final, one of the world’s most prestigious international tennis events, will take place in America.

The U.S. Davis Cup team, which defeated Sweden in the quarterfinals last weekend, features Andy Roddick, James Blake and doubles team Bob and Mike Bryan. Ticket information for this once-in-a-lifetime event will be distributed in the October eUpdate. Get ready to experience the incomparable, electric atmosphere that is Davis Cup tennis!
