Portland on PGA Tour list, behind D.C.
Portland is on a shortlist of cities being considered for the Fourth of July spot on the PGA Tour, commissioner Tim Finchem said Friday.
However, Finchem also told The Associated Press that Washington, D.C., was the tour’s probable choice.
Other cities being considered are Minneapolis and a market Finchem declined to identify.
