The Umpqua Bank Challenge will return for year two with a new venue, The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club in Aloha. For 17 years, The Challenge was the most talked-about and highly anticipated professional golf event in the Northwest. It’s immediate and long-term success were a direct result of the culture that was embedded into the event from day one by tournament host, Peter Jacobsen: fun and creative vision combined with genuine relationships and stellar execution.
After an eight-year hiatus, Peter partnered with Umpqua Bank to bring back a Challenge-style event to the Portland area. The Umpqua Bank Challenge will be more than just a golf tournament, it will be a three-day event filled with fun and entertainment for everyone – and 16 of the world’s best PGA TOUR and Champions Tour professionals will be there, too.
