- Location : Eugene
- Sport : Tennis
- Region : Willamette Valley
The University of Oregon tennis teams will be hosting Campus Kids Day, a free kids clinic, in conjunction with two home matches this season.
The women’s staff, made up of head coach Paul Reber and assistant coach Maja Kovacek, will provide instruction after the men’s match with UC Irvine on Feb. 26. The men’s staff, comprised of head coach Nils Schyllander and associate head coach Jonas Piibor, will do the same on March 4 prior to the women’s Ohio St. match.
Kids under the age of 12 years of age are invited to participate, but they must bring their own non-marking tennis shoes and racket. The clinic will run for about an hour, starting at about 1:30 PM on Feb. 26. The start time for the March 4 clinic is still to be announced. The men’s match is slated to begin at 10:00 a.m. in the Student Tennis Center, which is where the clinics will take place. Food and drinks will be provided for all participants.
As with all tennis matches, admission is free.
