
League sees new field on horizon
National Lacrosse League commissioner Jim Jennings has ambitious plans for the indoor game.
In five years, Jennings hopes for a more lucrative TV package, expansion from 13 to 24 teams and a 20-game regular season schedule.
The NLL also wants to establish an outdoor league by late summer 2008, taking advantage of the mushrooming popularity of field lacrosse in the United States at the youth and high school level.
