eUpdate – MLS All-Star Game, Little League Softball, Wine Country Half Marathon and more

    Major League Soccer, the Portland Timbers and Portland Mayor Charlie Hales joined together earlier this month to announce that Portland will host the 2014 MLS All-Star Game at JELD-WEN Field – the city’s first ever All-Star Game in a major professional sport. The annual showcase event will feature several days of festivities in late July/early August, culminating with a match between the league’s top players and a renowned international club to be announced at a future date. The 2013 MLS All-Star Game takes place tonight in Kansas City, shown live on ESPN2 at 6:00 p.m.
