eUpdate – Matthew Knight Arena Opens, Oregon Sports Awards and Upcoming Events

With a spectacular and emotional ceremony, the University of Oregon formally opened Matthew Knight Arena last night in front of a raucous sold-out crowd in Eugene. Those in attendance were the first to experience the first-class amenities of this stunning new venue, as well as the electric atmosphere that appears certain to replicate the authentic experience of McArthur Court.
