One of the most exciting and meaningful weeks in the history of Oregon sports culminated on March 21 with the thrilling drama of March Madness, just one day after Portland was named the future home to a Major League Soccer expansion franchise. Both the long-awaited return of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament and the MLS expansion announcement represent landmark achievements for the Oregon Sports Authority.
