Dew Tour announces athlete list

    World class action sports athletes will be coming out for the third stop of the 2009 Dew Tour season, the Wendy’s Invitational, August 13-16 at the Rose Quarter. The Dew Tour returns to Portland for the fifth consecutive year and will feature BMX and skateboarding competitions, as well as an FMX jam session.

    Over 140 of the best action sports athletes in the world will be in Portland to compete in the four-day competition, including 23 athletes fresh off winning 2009 X Games medals. Athletes include X Games gold medalists Paul Rodriguez (skateboard park), Scotty Cranmer (BMX park) and Garrett Reynolds (BMX park), four-time defending Dew Cup champion Jamie Bestwick (BMX vert), and two-time defending Dew Cup champion, Bucky Lasek (skate vert).

    In addition to the BMX (park, dirt, vert) and the skateboarding (park, vert) competitions, the Wendy’s Invitational will hold an FMX jam session with top athletes like Nate Adams, Adam Jones and Mike Mason.
