Citifyd Demonstrates Tech Forward Parking Service at Portland Trail Blazers Digital Showcase Event

Citifyd, a pioneering digital platform that streamlines event parking, has been retained by the Portland Trail Blazers as one of its key digital partners and was featured this week at the Trail Blazer’s Digital Showcase event at Portland’s Moda Center. Citifyd’s parking solution, which is now available to Trail Blazers ticket holders, comes from a close collaboration between the two partners to develop a technologically advanced parking amenity that creates greater efficiencies and less parking anxieties for game day commuters and parking operators.

The Trail Blazers have been incrementally rolling out Citifyd’s parking solution to ticket holders at the Moda Center since November last year through the Citifyd app, which is available on iOS and Google Play. As a result, select fans now benefit from an array of parking options within the Moda Center such as pre-purchased and on-demand parking, transfer, cancellation and waiting list features.

“Trail Blazers fans want to focus their time on enjoying the game and the surrounding amenities, and knowing they have greater control over their parking through Citifyd’s full feature platform brings greater convenience and peace-of-mind,” said Vincent Ircandia, Trail Blazers Senior Vice President of Business Operations. “We’re excited to have Citifyd be part of the Trail Blazers successful digital strategy as we continue to engage the best technological experiences for our fans.”

Additional features from the Citifyd service include SmartBeacon™ Bluetooth-enabled technology which removes the need for scanners and at-gate cash or credit transactions, further reducing commute times for fans. The partnership will also soon include expansion into the East/West garage at Moda Center, effectively allowing ticket holders to book and manage parking at more than 90% of the total available parking space.

“Working with forward-thinking teams like the Trail Blazers, whose aim is to create the best experience for their fans through the most effective technology, is the perfect partnership for us“, said Citifyd CEO, Sohrab Vossoughi. “Not only does Citifyd create a better commuting and parking experience for fans but event organizers realize higher customer loyalty and engagement leading to increased revenue.”

Citifyd’s web and mobile parking platforms facilitate transactions between drivers, parking providers and local businesses. By offering efficient management of parking inventory and providing more choice and control for parking customers, Citifyd creates optimized parking operations for large-scale events. Citifyd’s products also provide businesses with integrated and localized information to increase customer engagement through targeted and customized offers.
