
Beavers baseball may hinge on Lents decision
A decision is due this week on whether the Portland Beavers get a new baseball stadium in the Lents neighborhood. If the answer is “no,” it’s starting to look like Portland will need to let go of the minor league baseball team. In the event citizen advisors vote to block the new baseball stadium in Lents this week, only City Commissioner Randy Leonard has committed to keeping the Beavers in Portland.
